Oh, I can see that. Popular folks seem to be getting into an expedited publishing timeline and I do think it suffers from that.
I read it earlier this year, and it's such a departure from her earlier tone. This felt like a fun book that she wrote for herself -- it feels almost urgent at points! -- and while it was a good time, it didn't stick around for a long time.
I got that feeling as well, even as someone new to her writing! It felt like a book she needed to write to get her thoughts off her chest!
