R - Reading

Monday night I finally hit a groove with The Pairing, the upcoming Casey McQuiston novel. Kit’s perspective was a lot easier to read than the first half.

On Tuesday I finished listening to A Fate Inked in Blood by Danielle L. Jensen just in time for my hold on The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood to come in from the library. If you can’t tell, I’m in my Ali Hazelwood Era and enjoying every second of it.

My daughter and I have been reading Karen’s Sleepover, one of the Baby-Sitters Little Sister graphic novels, before bed. I pre-ordered it for her and it was a surprise when it came in the mail last week.

I’m giving Strands a go. It’s a new NYT game that’s still in Beta testing.

O - Obsessing over Organizing

I’ve struggled with the “obsessing over” category in my weekly report so I’m toying around with different verbs that begin with the letter O. Consider this your official notice that from this newsletter forward, this category will expand into observing or organizing.

This week I’m organizing family schedules. This coming week marks my 34th birthday and my daughter has a planned outpatient surgery, so I’ve had to put in some extra effort to make sure all our ducks are in a row to be able to navigate the upcoming week.
