Hello and happy Sunday from Charleston, SC! My husband and I attended a wedding Friday evening and stayed for the weekend. It’s always great to be back in the Holy City.
R - Reading
🎧Audio: Forget Me Not by Julie Soto, a second-chance romance featuring a wedding planner who is forced to work with her ex, a florist she cut ties with years ago.
First-Time Caller by B.K. Borison, a romance inspired by Sleepless in Seattle. I can’t recommend the audiobook enough. It’s the way to go with this one, trust me!
📱Kindle: Some Like it Scot by Pepper Basham, an upcoming slow-burn romance about a travel writer who gets an assignment in Scotland.
📙Physical Copy: The Antidote: Happiness for People Who Can't Stand Positive Thinking by Oliver Burkeman. Dragging my feet on finishing this one! I need to make time for it.
I can’t tell you the last time I read over 100 pages in one sitting but Change of Heart by Falon Ballard is pure magic! I can’t stop reading!
E - Eating
I accidentally forgot to skip our Home Chef delivery which worked out to my advantage because I didn’t have to meal plan this week.
All the yummy things in Charleston that I’ve missed!
P - Playing
Oh! The Ocean by The Wombats
People Watching by Sam Fender
Automatic by The Lumineers
Vampire Weekend (self-titled album) by Vampire Weekend
A Haunting in Venice (2023)
O - Obsessing over
This kids tee from Life is Good. Are you team pineapple on pizza?
R - Recommending
Making time to try new things.
T - Treating myself
to an at-home pedicure so my toenails look decent in the mesh shoes I wore to a wedding! I went with BP, an icy blue by Olive & June.
