A week at the beach is just what my brain needed. You’ll be impressed to hear that I didn’t check my work email at all on our trip. Despite plans to start a new TV show, the only thing I managed was the first 40 minutes of the new live action Snow White. It’s pretty bad… I don’t think I’ll be revisiting it! What’s with movies launching straight into a musical sequence these days? Today we’re celebrating my husband for Father’s Day and doing a major reset before I jump back into work tomorrow.
R - Reading
📕Physical Copy: By Thursday, I finished One Golden Summer by Carley Fortune and then started Total Dreamboat by Katelyn Doyle. They’re both excellent beach reads.
E - Eating
lasagna, salad and garlic bread

Summer skin, fresh freckles, Vera Bradley prints, seafood, my library, Crocs jibbits, tomatoes from our garden

Logging off. Seriously! My screen time was down 16% this week. Yes, I was busy watching kids in the water but I’m still counting that as a major win for my mental health.
T - Treating myself
I picked out a few dresses and a couple of necklaces from the LOFT Outlet at the beach. I needed a few dresses to be able to swap out for special events throughout the year. I also found some sneakers I’ve been covering at the New Balance store for only $60! Holding out worked in my favor big time!
