My Favorites
This month was honestly a little disappointing. I was happy to finally finish Anam Cara since I’ve been working my way through it since the beginning of the year. My real highlight was When in Rome by Sarah Adams! I’ve never pre-ordered the second book in a series while still reading the first! It’s the cutest romance I’ve read in a long time and I highly recommend picking it up if that’s your thing. I also adored This Time Tomorrow. Emma Straub is great at writing about real life in a way that tugs at your heartstrings. It was one of my most anticipated releases in 2022 and I’m so glad I finally made time to read it.
What’s Next
I am looking forward to getting two books I pre-ordered in the mail!
1. Practice Makes Perfect by Sarah Adams
2. Meet Me at the Lake by Carley Fortune
It will definitely be a summer filled with light romances.
Indie Bookstore Day
Saturday, April 29th is the 10th anniversary of Indie Bookstore Day! I’ll be heading to our local indie bookstore, The Book Tavern, in search of several picture books. I’m encouraging you to shop locally this Saturday too.

I really want to read Jennifer Robsons novel since I just got back from England and I’m Gaga for London. You didn’t comment on it? Was it good? Also, why three stars for Emily Henry? Is it diff from other books? I actually loved beach read most!
