Overbooked Mama is a little corner of the Internet where I share snippets of my life as a mom raising two readers. Here you'll find everything from musings on motherhood to diaper bag must-haves and my favorite parenting book recommendations. It’s my goal to inspire the modern parent to find joy in the everyday moments while curating a simplified, intentional life.

My Why

Blogging has been my creative outlet since the Blogger beta days. I find typing out my thoughts to be cathartic. Documenting life has always been important to me and I’m lucky that my spouse shares a love for photography, especially film! Whether it’s capturing snapshots from our week, sharing a new DIY home project, or trying out a new recipe, for years my blog served as a digital journal for my lil’ fam and a source of inspiration to others.

After adding kids to the mix, my blog once again shifted focus. It’s currently my goal to connect with other millennial parents and inspire the working mom to find joy in everyday moments. Plus, I’ll challenge you to make sure your kids catch you reading.
