This series is exactly what I need. I love the kid’s book’s recommendations and I love the adult book recommendations even more (I wonder why? 😝). I am definitely planning on reading Tiny Victory Gardens.
Love this!! So many faves and some new books to check out, thank you!! There are some wonderful composting books for children if you are curious to explore those, the topic really interests my children!!
Amazing! List! We just planted our garden last weekend and this weekend and we will be keeping our fingers crossed that it will be sprouting and thriving soon. We loved A Garden to Save the Birds (saw it in the pics) and Up in the Garden and Down in the Dirt. We love chatting about friends and foes of the garden. I do NOT love how big the dang pests are in Texas.
That up/down series is one of my personal faves. We have a few of them! We are about a week behind you I think. I’m keeping an eye on the weather and it looks like we’ve got another week of lows in the 30s coming so I’m holding off!
So many wonderful connections & skills and fun with your garden project! We’re still freezing and in snow, so you’re giving me hope for our garden in a few months!
This is a wonderfully comprehensive list! We have and love Mrs. Peanuckle's books, so I'll definitely check out her vegetable alphabet book. I'm also very intrigued by "My Tiny Window Garden"!

I thought of you when I was picking out some of the windowsill books!
Wow, so many great recommendations, thank you 🙏
You’re welcome! This was fun to pull together.

I will look for some of those! Great call! We have a compost bin so it would be good to make that connection too.

Sending warm weather your way! You can have some of this pollen rain too.
Ooh Is Hoopla like Libby?
Yes, very similar! My library doesn't offer Libby but it seems to be the preferred digital platform.
Interesting! I’m gonna see if I can get both. I have Libby already. 🤷🏻♀️
Thank you for sharing! These are perfect for spring and summer too! Will be archiving for future reference!

It's very cute. I'm still hoping to get my hands on the kitchen iteration of the series.
This was so, so, so helpful to me. I have placed a gazillion Libby holds because of this post.
PERFECT! There are truly so many good ones available through the library catalog.
