Mine is similar to yours and your reasoning behind it. Refocus. Refocus on the important things in life. Refocus on who I want to be and the mom I want to be and the wife I want to be. 2024 was a year of chaos and surviving after a serious health diagnosis of my newborn. Looking forward to 2025! ❤️

It sounds like you had a lot on your plate last year. I hope you can focus on what matters most this year! I'm rooting for you.

Such a good word, Kuleigh! My word for the coming winter months is 'simple.' It's already refreshing when I feel myself mulling over too many options or trying to add things to my plate to gently remind myself to choose the simplest path possible. I hope it will help me feel restored, refreshed, and calm this season.

That’s a great word! I hope you’re able to simplify your life. Sometimes we put too much on ourselves when it’s all just a choice.

My word of the year is Reverence. I’ve been enjoying applying this word to my daily life.

Thank you for your vulnerability. I love this practice. Although I don’t set a word for the year, your goals for 2025 are very similar to mine. I hope you find restoration and rediscover yourself this year. xx

I love that you aren't following the cool girl trend and are doing what feels in alignment with yourself and your needs. <3

Love this! I started picking a word for the year because of my job. This year in particular I did set some goals because it felt necessary with my word (attention, I want to be intentional about where I put that attention), but I've found that using a word instead of making resolutions works out so much better for me: working in a general direction instead of feeling failure if I don't meet a specific set of goals.

My word is scrimshaw. It has shown up everywhere lately. I still don't exactly understand it but I can't seem to get away from it.🤪😳
