Great idea and great advice for newbies! "Don’t request too many books at once" hahaha that's essential

Yes! It’s easy to get excited and overcommit.

Wow this is so helpful! I’ve used NetGalley but by no means am I a pro. This is very helpful. Thanks for sharing!

I feel the same but had a few requests from people wanting to dip their toes in!

You know I love netgalley!!!

Do you have any tips you would like to share? You’ve read much more on there than I have!

I wish I had researched more when I started out because I requested so much and my ratio sucks-30%! I need to really focus on it but also…so many books to read.

I completely feel you there. Some years I read a lot of eARCs and others I rarely request any because I prioritize other reading.

I’ve never used NetGalley, but now I am excited to try it out!

I definitely went overboard when I first joined and couldn't keep up, even when I was reading 50+ books a year, now I stick to authors I already love.

I’ve just made my award-winning short story collection available on NetGalley for a limited time ahead of the sequel. I'm nervous.... I heard Netgalley reviewers can be brutal!
