I have so many photos on my phone that I haven't printed, thank you for all of these suggestions to organise and print. Chatbooks looks great, love the idea of monthly books too.
My favorite thing about Chatbooks is how automated it is. You get to review the books before they print but you don’t actively have to create them and that’s a huge time saver for me.
It sounds super easy to use, looking forward to finding out more. My youngest is 2 and he always wants to look at photos on my phone so he would love having photo albums to flick through.
This couldn’t be more timely as I found the baby book I was supposed to be filling out collecting dust at the back of my closet. Sigh.
Thank you for the tips! I love the one about going back through the years on today’s date and seeing ones you can discard. So much more efficient and much less overwhelming!
And I don’t know which article you’re talking about but I think I’m probably better off for it lol. There’s a lot to people here (and I am definitely one of them) who eagerly await your newsletters so please ignore whatever you came across (easier said than done, I know).
I’m awful at baby books. I set a reminder after their birthday to spend a couple of hours in the morning filling them out for the previous year. It’s so hard to remember all the tiny details so I get it. The article was basically saying that Substack should be for Capital “W” Writers.
admitedly, have no idea what post you were referring to, but so glad you're back-- love reading your posts! Every year managing my photos better is one of my goals and I never stick with it. I was just thinking about how I should make a book for the upcoming school year and add photos in as the year goes on instead of waiting until the end and having to sift back through them all.
I loved that you shared this! (Regardless of whether someone else posted..)
I’m glad you liked it :)

Gross (to the last sentence).

Love this - thank you so much for reminding me that I have TWO YEARS of Mootsh credits to use for printing my phone pics 😉
