Romance Recs for Newbies

February is the perfect month to pick up a romance novel! I finished reading The Secret History last night and I’m planning to pick up Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. You may have heard of it…!

I never really considered myself a romance reader until somewhere around 2019. I’d read Young Adult books with romance elements but they leaned heavier on the Fantasy side. I am by no means qualified to be your primary source for romance book recommendations, but I have read a lot of backlist titles over the last few years that I loved, and think you will too!

My favorite thing about romance novels is that you can find something that fits into your favorite genre. I gravitate toward romances that are more sweet than spicy. I love a cozy British setting or any storyline involving food!
