Today is my 10th wedding anniversary! While we already celebrated by taking a relaxing trip to Charleston earlier this Spring without our kids in tow, we are planning to go out to a local Thai restaurant for dinner tonight. We tend to order the same few things: spring rolls, satay, pork laab (larb), thom kha kai, and some sort of larger curry dish to share. I love pad prik king but can’t seem to find it locally. What are your favorite Thai dishes?
Pad Kee Mao. It’s my absolute favorite and I almost always get it. My next favorite it a tie between Green Curry and Thai Basil. Happy anniversary btw!!
I love Pad Prik King too! Chicken Satay is a fun appetizer. I also really like variations on crispy fish, something with lightly battered white fish, julienne vegetables, and a sweet & spicy Chili Sauce. Have a lovely celebration!!
That sounds really good, Claire! I look for something like that on the menu tonight. We've done a whole fish before. I'd love something lighter. Maybe even a panang curry.

You can't go wrong with Panang curry, yellow curry, or red curry! Though, I don't prefer green curry.
I’m a Pad Thai girly, but hold the bean sprouts please!
