I’m loving your weekly report and am curious to see how this one morphs and grows. It is a nice peek into your day and your world and I enjoyed reading the entire thing. I’m also on a total music dry spell - it’s Frozen on repeat over here thanks to my 2 year old who belts all Idina songs at the top of her lungs.
Cry to Me by Solomon Burke was one I stumbled upon last month that I was really loving.
Thank you for your kind words and the music recommendation! I relate to listening to the same toddler-requested songs on repeat. My 2-year-old's current obsession is the Gummy Bear song.
I have not read Babel yet but it's been sitting on my Kindle forever. I'm intimidated by it. Maybe next year? Ha! I did read The Maidens but I wasn't impressed with it. It had more of a mystery element to it that was interesting in some ways but I didn't like all of the red herrings.
I was CONSUMED by the The Crown in the last few months. I watched the entire series, start to finish, while also reading The Diana Chronicles, The Palace Papers, Spare, and most recently, Endgame. Before last fall, I would never even say I was that interested in the royal family, but The Crown completely took over my brain. Now I'm an expert haha.

I feel the same way about Secret History. Nothing beats it! Have you read Babel? Or The Maidens? Neither really compare but I did like them both.

Babel is definitely intimidating! But I loved it. It’s a very impressive book.
Gosh, I have heard Wintering referenced frequently -- must pick this one up!
These newsletter updates feel so accomplishing when one reads them over... it reminds us how much we actually get done in a month. <3 Rest well!

This is such a great list! I loved Sex Education final season too! And am always trying to figure out how to reset my house.
